Description
Areas of Applications:
- As a Bonding agent for plaster over concrete surface.
- As a Bonding agent between old and new concrete as well as repair mortar.
- As a Bonding agent during shortcreting / gunniting process.
Method Of Application:
- Clean the surface with water jet or by wet scrubbing thoroughly to remove dirt, loose particles, etc.
- Dampen the surface with water.
- Apply one coat of Professor Seal – BondAid by roller brush or spray on the prepared surface.
- Once the coated surface become tacky, apply a chat/ dash coat of cement mortar.
- There may be variation in tacky period due to atmospheric condition such as temperature, wind, and humidity.
- Check and ensure that the surface is tacky prior to application.
- Plaster the surface or place the concrete in the usual manner after setting of the chat/ dash coat.
